As if the "lifestyle" of the workers whose jobs so blithely dismissed here were so exorbitant as to be shameful.
Average monthly wages went up 1000% in China between 1990 and 2015. This was an amazing achievement. There's no reason that countries like China should stay permanently impoverished so that the WWC in the US can maintain its lifestyle.
