I can no longer read the small print in many of my books. 📚 Instead I borrow digital books through my library and read them on my iPhone. Best of all worlds.
But isn’t their lack of urgency one of the redeeming qualities of books? We even have a saying in German: “paper is patient”. (Admittedly, it’s mostly used when referring to the discrepancy between a plan or treaty and the ensuing reality, but still.)

I was joking with my dad the other day. I was sad that I had to sell around 200+ books to cover rent and how torn up I was not to have them onmy shelves. Then I was like, "But I made a list and 🏴☠️them onto my tablet..."
