On 2/8/68, police fired into a crowd of unarmed student protesters in Orangeburg, S.C. At least 27 were injured, and 3 ppl were killed: Samuel Hammond Jr., Delano Middleton, and Henry Smith.
I think most ppl are familiar w/ the Kent State Massacre, but not this one. The difference? Skin color.
