I'm fortunate that as a grandparent with available time my granddaughter trust me. We have weekly time together that we set aside. I call it her "bitch session" where she can just unload, no matter how trivial it may seem. If it's bothering her, it's important. Then we eat ice cream 😅
Sadly most kids today grow up hearing, "get out of my face, go play with so-and-so, I'm busy go play." Because updating your Facebook war with Brenda is much more important than listening to your children that you laid down and made. They wonder why kids go postal.🤷🏾♀️
