Of course, civil servants have to give impartial advice, whereas with hired consultants you can get the advice you paid for.

Chuck in the end to outsourcing as well. Keep things in house and stop throwing money at the usual suspects such as Crapita.

When Tories brought in the Work Programme it was proven the 3rd Party companies had worse outcomes than Job Centre work coaches.
