I know a man who personally is getting himself help now, we can't make blanket statements like this and disregard the people who are actually trying, you don't know everyone to make that statement and women ALSO don't always get the help they need

It’s not hard to figure out he’s explaining the “why” of the post he quoted, too. Like she asked for an answer and he gave it, then someone else walks behind talking bout “blanket statements” as if this isn’t obviously what’s happening. I thought we left this type of rhetoric on Twitter?

He was stating men as a unit don't cooperate, I told him I don't think we should focus on the unit and just the individual men who want help. I don't think we should focus on men who don't want him, you jumped to belittling because of misunderstanding

But how does bringing up the ones who aren't doing the work on a positive post for the ones who would like to help anything, obviously awareness is good but this definitely makes it look like men can't win for losing. I know horrible men and j also know amazing men
