As a french I often think “oh they are striking/manifesting again, it’s like a national pass time” but in the end it’s only way to force the politics to work for the people. You hire politicians with elections, and you pay them with taxes. You don’t work for them, you’re signing their paycheck.
Yes, they did and they invented a machine to make removing the heads efficient and keep down costs, so Musk might really like the look of the engineering of the device as he knees down to position his head. He would love its no fuss design saving a lot of time and money for the US tax payer, lol.
Actually the Louisette(original name after the inventor) was created as a humane way to enact capital punishment since it's quick and reliable(as opposed to the previous approach of using a sword which often took several swings).
In terms of speed it's actually slower than swinging a sword 3-4 times
Yeah, I’m pretty sure most of them, certainly not all, but a good portion of them will turn tail and run when the rounds start whistling past their punkin heads
Yep! 47 assured them that he will reaffirm the second amendment; the right to bear arms. If he deny them, they will be very angry. I’m waiting for them to do the bidding for us.
Life is unpredictable, and right now, we’re struggling in ways I never imagined. If you’re reading this, maybe you can be the reason things get better. Any help, no matter how small, can change our future.😫🙏🏻
We don't work together well. The rich in this country know this. They know that they can always find someone hungry enough to step in. That's why they like to keep people in this country Right on the cusp of desperation.
I was a Union member for 41 years. If Americans were not so uninformed, (I don't say stupid because they were never exposed to the true history of unions in this country), they would realize the power of collective bargaining. Trump, Musk and all the oligarchs benefit from an uneducated workforce.
Almost 250 years ago the American colonies threw off the yoke of a distant, mad tyrant.
Taking a cue from America, the French revolution ended badly for the incompetent regal, political and bourgeoisie oppressors.
Apparently the Trump/Musk rigeme hasn't learned anything from history.
Yeah, but the French don't have Oligarch-controlled media making them want to PwN the Libs... At this point, that seems to be the only thing most of them care about.
But then the rich people got back in charge in France and established the 2d empire government etc - it’s a constant struggle to establish social rights
You can also cartwheel to the nations capital from any of its borders. America is BIG. Many people can't simply take time off from work to drive 5 days across the country to protest in DC. I hypothesize that high speed rail never caught on because our leaders don't want us just a few hours away.
If we stopped working for one week, we would have the attention of all the wealthy and those in power. (I get those work where life depends on them showing up can’t stop but the rest of us sure could)
I live in France. Corruption absolutely does happen even on local govt levels. This BS about the French Revolution and executing royalty, has nothing to do with modern France!

I want a cat, in a beret, to say “bonjour” to me.

By design, they are organized structures always ready to answer government misbehaviors.
But it's too "socialist" for most Americans who seem to prefer to be ruled billionaires.
