The Pack Alpha preferred it to seeing the omega in the binding jacket, but he’d done his research before adopting YG. Restraints and deep pressure did wonders for an omegas mental health, and NJ really did want his new purchase to be happy in his care.

Omegas were incredibly expensive, it had taken years for the pack to save up enough to buy one. Even then they’d had to buy a used omega, one with far too many previous owners. The lack of care omegas received, despite them being a hot ticket item, blew NJ’s mind.

The training centre had received a pretty sum from him (and countless other packs), and yet the building had been cold and damp, when it was common knowledge that omegas needed assistance regulating their body temperature.

Violence towards omegas was normal too, and while of course NJ and his pack believed in corporal punishment, there was a line. YG currently had bruises on his face, and the medical records he had been emailed through showed an array of old injuries from broken bones to a punctured lung.
