That’s absolutely how they’d play it and the fact that with all of their surveillance and huge budget all it took was a mask and a handsome guy decoy lol
It’s a little hard to explain because it’s not an official, codified part of any criminal justice system. It’s just a natural consequence of how our jury system works:
Jurors can vote to acquit for any reason they want. Jury deliberations are secret…
…and jurors are never required to explain or defend their decisions, the only possible exception being in cases where there’s clear evidence of misconduct or jury tampering.
People on twitter will really be like "you believe in voting? that pales in effectiveness to my strategy, shooting the CEO of a health insurance company" and then shoot the CEO of a health insurance company and be proven right.
