The cats have been alerting in the kitchen for a while, and I have found mouse poop in our drawers.... I have been disinfecting and washing, but it takes a really long time even for a tiny kitchen.

We just dealt with mice! We were away for 5 days and came back to 💩💩💩. Comes at a bad time too. I'm not sure if there's more somewhere but I have a live trap set.
I think it's too hot for their liking. We had to shoo one out of my work when it came in the front door a couple days ago.
I did this once for a good friend who was going through a rough time .. for years. His tiny kitchen was a hazmat level disaster, and though it was usable by the time I was done, I was exhausted.

We had an incident where mice discovered that we kept takeout packets of ketchup, soy sauce, etc. in the drawer under the cutlery. That was a fun one.
(We don't keep takeout packets of sauce in the drawers anymore 😅)
