I was raised to believe that respect is earned. I see nothing in either of those men that engenders respect or admiration. Hopefully Fico can be replaced democratically. Why the EU tolerates Hungary in its midst as basically a dictatorship I don’t understand.

There’s a type of person (many are politicians) who seem to believe others respect of them is warranted because they can hurt them in some way. Fear me = respect me in other words.
