Been recently using Iceshrimp (another Misskey fork; over at https://fedia.social) and... holy moses... it really shows how terrible Mastodon is in the AP space. Wish I'd used a *key in fedi's heyday 😔

I come across those *key instances from time to time, but tbh I can't stomach this design/UX, I look at it and I have no idea what the hell is going on and it gives me anxiety. Animations everywhere, things behaving in a weird way, weird layout, I can't understand how the content flows, etc... 🤷🏻‍♂️

You can turn the animations off tbf, and there is a relatively "normal" layout if the shoehorned WM is a bit overwhelming 😁

Also real impressed how quickly Bridgy Fed seems to federate to *key's. On Mastodon, bridged posts seem to take *forever* to show up — sometimes not at all! Not sure why 🤔
