Regrettably, I believe that this current Regime has abandoned the GOP as well, they just don’t care to see it.

The Leader is a venal, thin-skinned man who thrives on the “counter-punch”. It was clear to me that everything he is doing, is all about revenge.

Agreed. What is so disheartening for me is those around him who have sold their souls for money and power. Many of them know better. And yet they support a would-be dictator (a word he has used to describe his goals)

I preached last week about the message of Bp Budde; I have been soundly castigated by the supporters of the regime for “bringing politics into church”, when my point was about the hateful rhetoric that has become the norm.

No open threats, yet. But definitely tells me where I need to stand.

The scariest part of this is I don't think Trump et al know. It's an unorganized grab for power and don't I think there are any concrete ideologies or plans involved. We don't know what we're fighting, because they don't know what they're doing. It's an incompetentarchy right now.

I’m afraid the incompetence doesn’t run that deep. There is a lack of focus at the top that is being directed by competing ideologies, which is why it seems unorganized. Many of the aims of the competing ideologies are aligned, but the motivations are not necessarily so. Still sussing this out…
