I'm taking the following theory, as I'd say in my native language, out of my own ass. But my growing opinion is that one of the many roles of aesthetics early fascist movements was to cloud the public opinion with an extra layer of symbolism that had to be decoded. 1/

What I mean by that is that fascism in the 21st century does not look like fascism one century ago. They will not dress uniforms or do grandiose parades. They dress like the everyperson, and parade ther carefully curated images in our TikTok feeds. 5/
