How many farmers are now tenants? I feel that land has been bought by the rich and we’re going backwards into a feudal society. If farmers can prove with figures and facts that this will affect them all as they say it will I’m open to thinking about this differently.

Drop stamp duty on modest homes something farmers haven't paid for generations from 250k-125k
+Pensioners fuel allowance
+Farmers IHT after IHT loopholes/life insurance = not much more than day out in city to show up losing party

Jeremy Clarkson was quite open and blatant about why he bought a farm. To avoid inheritance taxes.

To stand up for farmers we shd instead be campaigning for restoration of their income subsidies and rentry into the Single Market to enable exports, not campaigning to keep tax loopholes for the rich.

You dont solve issues of income with inheritance loopholes. Farmland prices have skyrocketed precisely because the rich have piled in to avoid IHT. E.g. My accountant lives in London yet still owns a forest....
