As a Canadian who has lived in the US for 9 years i haven’t even entertained the thought of becoming a US citizen. Prob have to get out soon. I will miss my house that i worked so hard to renovate.
It's sobering to know that every single Canadian province has a higher minimum wage than we do in the states.
Worth noting also that there isn't a single place in the US where a person can afford to live on a minimum wage of $7.25/hr working 40hrs/wk. It's been that way for a decade now.

In Quebec, the minimum wage is $16.10.
Over half of the country lives in Ontario or BC, so for the average person federal minimum is a very good benchmark.

Still used to certain other internet places where if the data isn't right under someone's nose, you'll fight about it until you're a skeleton :P
Mine came from https://www.justice4workers.org/minimum_wage_provinces but it is accurate to the .gc.ca site.
