I go by the dates that sunset and sunrise turn around. December 15 for sunset but sunrise won't be until January 8/9.

7 hrs 11 minutes... luxury. We're almost at peak doom and gloom with 7 hrs and just 2 fleeting minutes. That's probably what drove the vikings to migrate south.
