I have two sons that can butcher small & large animals and I taught them to raise a garden so we’re good for meat, eggs & veggies. Can milk a cow/goat make butter too. We also have chickens for eggs & meat. Never thought that at 63,I’d have to be thinking about basic survival. 🙁☹️😩😢😭
Well, I thought it would happen because we destroyed the environment, did not have this whole dumpster fire on my bingo card.
I have often told my grown children that they have skills that will help them survive when money means nothing and we have to trade & barter when we have to be self reliant.
I’m a veterinarian - I got you all covered on the animal prep thing… and probably the saving human lives thing if zombie apocalypse stories have anything to teach us 😂
It is. Sometimes I will sit in my room at night, just the light from the window, and spin. The sound of the wheel - shush, shush, shush - is exquisitely calming. I can't crochet anymore (arthritis) and never could knit. I have a small table loom but really I just like to spin. Try it!
