I have my endo appointment tomorrow and I can't wait! One, he is amazing. Two, gonna talk about permanently switching my T from Cypionate to Enanthate cos Enanthate is so much better for me!

If you're curious about why, two main things. No more acne on Enanthate and I can feel fluctuations in temperature again. Like 10 C outside no longer feels the same as 26 C. And my atoms no longer constantly vibrate. So three things
Interesting how a single carbon atom can change how ppl respond
According to my endo, the acne thing is because of the different oil used to deliver the T. Enanthate used to be the default until it was always in shortage because less adverse side effects. And now cypionate is always in shortage lol so worked out for me!
oh neat. I'm not breaking out, but my skin has definitely gotten much oilier on cypionate. i had seriously bad acne as a teen so i'm relieved that i'm not getting that again, but i gotta say the greasy face is pretty annoying 😹
oh shit i gotta call for a refill today. JUST remembered!
Interesting! I am getting to fight the "is this medically necessary" fight for the first time for myself, so it's a blast. (In the past, I was in a union and did a whole press release shaming our insurance for a pattern of denials.)
Thankfully, this shouldn't be a fight. The only thing that may make it a no is if it's contraindicated for long-term use with my comorbidities. Im on it now cos Cypionate is in a shortage and not available
We are also keeping my monthly hormone testing to help with my TUE renewal next year. Having my hormones tested once a month for the last 2.5 years while we were figuring out my estrogen dose definitely helped me get my TUE cos it proved stable levels within WADA guidelines
It’s really interesting how people’s body’s respond to substances differently.
I needed antibiotics earlier in the year and the first one given to me made me nauseous and i tended to lose my balance when i walked.
The massive headache wasn’t pleasant either. So i got it switched and it was better
