✍️ COLUMN: The CFB pundits owe Indiana and SMU an apology for dragging them.
Alabama's loss to Michigan's backups was a reminder that hypothetical point spreads don't mean anything. Tennessee got blown out, too. South Carolina lost.

And they still shit the bed.
Well done!
They had the SEC and the possibility of the playoffs when they lost to both unranked Vandy & Oklahoma.
Maybe they just aren't very good.
And this was the WORST bowl game assignment in my memory and they still managed to show up.
SEC Big shot Tennessee was completely outclassed; SMU was overmatched but fought for 60 minutes; Indiana choked but give Notre Dame credit.
IMO, the 12 teams picked and their seedings were right on.
Happy New Year to four loss Alabama. Suck it, Tide.
If Alabama wanted to be in the playoffs they shouldn’t have lost three games—two to unranked teams
Also, I think we can agree the mountain west is not a power conference
So does it make the coach more or less important? I don’t like this coach, I’m outta here
What will matter in coaching?
End. Of. Story.
They will never learn.
I never paid attention to point spreads.
All that matters is the game played on that day, and it has nothing to do with point spreads. 😎
If he isn’t snorting dope with his ass pal Suckisian he is trying to convince us Suck invented football
But we got lucky with first quarter weather and a solid defense that carried the day.
Bama has THREE other losses (including an opponent OSU blew out) and one win over a playoff team
Maybe next time think before you type.
