My suggestion would be to keep it, BUT either make it happen very rarely, or only happen in specific circumstances, and maybe add some other wacky effects to show it’s intentional and not a bug
Like maybe if you have different lances, make basically a “meme lance” that does this
Because this is genuinely funny but if it happens every single time, it would lose the humor after seeing it a few times
