Part of the problem is the conservative echo chamber like Fox News, OAN et al. They don’t really adhere to any journalistic standards. We’re so fractured we don’t even agree on the same facts.

Exactly. How can we recover when we don’t? I mean back in the day D’s & R’s could look at a river on 🔥 & say, that’s bad, let’s do something. Now, MArj Green would say laser started it & nothing would get done. It’s embarrassing

I know! I go back and forth. On the one hand we’ve been through worst times. But on the other we’ve never had such a fractured media landscape. I think we’ll be ok but we’ve crossed the rubicon so to speak. I don’t think we’re going to return to normalcy post Trump.
