I've mentioned this before, but one of my peculiar bucket-list goals would be a summer on the Welsh coast, I'm thinking Aberystwyth, with a load of art supplies and plenty of time to walk, stop, and make beautiful landscape drawings and paintings.

I love that place name, Aberystwyth. The first time I ever heard/saw it was as the title of a movement in Vaughan Williams' Household Music. None of us in the quartet could pronounce it, but the word sure looked pretty.
You should see it, man. In the Autumn, a storm of starlings whirl above the pier like a magical black cloud. The waters crash against the beach and the sky seems a forever thing.
Oh gosh! I've given away that I've never had the pleasure to be there in person. I know the one at the bottom of the very steep hill, how many are there?

(My compadres who know the Great Lakes here know this feeling, yes?)
Who do I know in North Wales who'd put up with me for several weeks? (I'm happy to help with the tidying up.)
