Absolutely. Trump is obsessed with rare earth's. Hence his desperation to grab Canada and Greenland (8th and 6th most rare earth potential globally). I doubt he understands what they are tbh but someone has got into his head about their importance. He's no doubt agreed to mine Russia's too.
