I have psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis (and a autoimmune gut issue that has turned into being unable to eat wheat/gluten the past 2 years now), autoimmune stuff is rough.

My mom had the gut problems all her life (needed many surgeries even), and she had the same chronic pain issues I have

Thougy she injured her leg and such, I had to get rods and pins over scoliosis.

But doctors figured the fact that even small cuts become permanently numb or in pain. From my mother’s side and I have it.

Didn’t know about autism passing to the children/daughters so often when combined with autoimmune diseases.

I guess it makes sense given I got many of my mom’s mental health problems that is debilitating. *though male myself, stuff passing to the kid, so I fear having kids myself over my health.

Some of my joints are. Like I can bend my thumb to my wrist and make the tips of my fingers point up. But I can't reach the floor bending in half or do anything crazy

Hypermobility/hEDS has some strong comorbidities with ADHD/autism. It can also lead to RH due to the lack of cartilage support. I've been able to dislocate my shoulder my whole life and I'm recently learning that it's also related to my ADHD.

Oh definitely, it's just a time to discover that it's a thing I have so late in life, and realizing my family has it but never talked about it. Just a lot of health issues make sense now 😅

Yeah, just figuring if I can ever go to a dr maybe they won't dismiss me as much as they have. But they probably will more so, womp.

no clue what doctors are like over in the US, but.. I wouldn't expect too much out of them either way. Best thing you could try for is an official diagnosis really.

Ii didn't realize a lot of my behaviors were swimming behaviors when i was young. I just started in my AuDHD journey over a year ago. I lot of things I experienced really lined up with ADHD. And one of mine was Scratching my back in the shower, it's why I have so many scars on the my shoulders
