and though it’s hard to tell from the wording it sure sounds like they aren’t confident about these “gameplay sequences” being consistent past the two minute mark

like is the thought that you’d train it on the old game and then have something approximating the gameplay of it?

but I think (if I’m following this at all) that requires a consistent input -> visual result and I don’t see how that holds up for most games?

cause they’re testing this with an online multiplayer only game for a reason, right? where what you can possibly input -> see is relatively very limited

and like all that being said it’s working backwards from visual + controller input on all other game logic, right? not to mention text? and so on, so

I do not think they will realistically use this for rereleasing old games, assuming I am following this correctly at all
