I found out recently you're meant to prune them regularly to avoid this 🥲 I gave mine a "reset" by making cuttings out of the leafy parts and put them in water so they can grow roots, and then will be repotting them (and keeping them nice and trimmed).
the god of hyperfixation on plants for a solid 3-6 months during the pandemic, with a long, long tail 😅 I kept killing my plants and decided that had to change. But pothos are very sturdy plants and grow very fast, too. It helps!
