3/ You buy the nutrient mix and then follow the recipe for that particular mix. I have to do a big batch every 4-5 days, but that's because I am feeding it to two dogs as the only food.

You can also do half/half with a quality dry food as a happy medium.

Ok, gotta try this. Right now we get sacks of frozen meat out the back of an 18 wheeler at a rest stop every 4 months, then thaw it and package it into ~a month’s worth of servings and add nutrients as we serve. I don’t like the way this sounds when written out…

The dogs go NUTS for it. It takes 60-90 minutes to cook/prepare and they are underfoot the entire time knowing exactly what I'm doing

We love JFFD for our pack, too - they get it for special occasions or if their tummies are upset, otherwise they're on Open Farm kibble
