There are no degrees in that sense, either you’re congruent with your natal sexed body or you’re not.
And it might be true that transphobes doesn’t make a distinction between a transsexual or a transvestite.
But the average person clearly does👇🏻

Vs a person who enjoys their natal genitalia and ‘doesn’t owe any femininity’.
What is the body that is opposite of a male body? What is the genitalia opposite of a penis? The hormone that the opposite reproductive system to the male one is organized around? The phenotypic expression opposite of the male one?
We live in a material world where sexed phenotypic expression matters, and behavioral patterns as well.
But there’s no logical explanation for this phenomenon, and when you scratch the surface it isn’t anything like transsexualism.
You cannot be outside of the sex-binary or bimodal spectrum. You’re either male, female or a combination of the two.
And you could only be trans between those modes.

Those people want align their bodies to their brain.👇🏻
They don’t want make a spectacle out of themselves and make others uncomfortable like that.
I started transition at 16, but didn’t use a female locker room until my SRS at age of 20.
Never would I’ve wanted to embarrass myself or make others uncomfortable.
I think most logical people do understand the nuances here.
