I held the door open for him, a lovely fellow resident held it for me after. Moving on. But security came about while I was waiting for the normal elevator, and said new person asked "How do I make this freight elevator work" - while literally navigating furniture~ I heard his goal floor was mine...

I immediately knew, he was my new neighbor and we're going to share a wall for the minimum of a year. And I mildly thought about it and took out trash to the dumpster, rather than the chute, with purpose so I could cross paths and yep, we're neighbors. And I introduced myself...

"Hi, I'm Katie, welcome." He immediately was very thankful for that holding the door thing and his name is Rob. So fwiw, thank whatever that I will not forget his name. Maybe I'll complain about him or he about me, but I will not forget his name, cause a podcast. "Rob? Ah, okay, nice to meet you!"

I'm decent at remembering names, but so many people have gone through that specific apartment. I really hope that Rob from his apartment and I get along. He seems chill.
