So the idea that “wellness centers”, raw milk, & supplements could replace GLP-1 agonists for weight loss horrifies me. This is not making America healthy again. It is taking life-saving medication away from people & making them sicker. It hurts people mentally & physically.

I'm happy these drugs exist, and happy you've found a healthier lifestyle. But. Women who demonstrate expertise should not need to be 120lbs to be treated with respect. I'm not going to lie, this is awful. Not "ew what a bad choice in a bad situation" but just "ugh that this all works this way"

I get that and I do not think women need to be 120 lbs to be treated with respect. It is really "ugh that this all works this way." But I didn't take Ozempic to get respect. I did not feel comfortable in my own body at 197 lbs, so I took it to reclaim my self.

I keep wondering if one of those drugs is in my future. I get tons of exercise (bike to work, heavy guy on heavy bike, 3000 miles per year), dieting is horrible, weight is steady at about 60lbs over college.

Thank you for sharing. I started Zepbound after also ballooning at the start of the pandemic, and I've lost 45 lbs. I'm also hypothyroid, so the thought of being on another med for life doesn't phase me. These are miracle drugs for so many people.

Thank you for sharing Angie✨ I have subclinical hypothyroidism. In 2023 I was categorized obese for the 1st time at 49 and developed hypertension. I had hoped to gain access to one of these meds but w/what’s coming rather than study chronic illness they’ll ensure people develop one. Cruelty = MAHA.
