I’m pleased they’re taking those games into consideration rather than letting him have a free hit. There were glimmers of a playing style in the first few matches, even against City but nothing since. I think Terzić would be my preference over Potter.

I’m all for giving someone a chance but I’ll be astonished if he turns this around. There’s no sense of forming a style of play that works. Hardly any of the players have played to their level all season.

But big 6 teams manage to bring through young players. A lot of it is to put them in the shop window then sell them for good money, but keep 2/3 of the really good ones. Good business if nothing else. See Liverpool & City in particular.
