Don’t understand this team at all. Try to build from CBs but spend ages hoping to find an opening for a forward pass while none of the midfielders offer short. Areola ends up dinking a ball out to AWB who blindly plays it into a space where a midfielder should be and we lose the ball. Ad infinitum.
The soul destroying pattern of the season continues. Totally overrun by the top teams & scrambled lucky victories against the lower teams, just sufficient for the manager to cling on to his job. Zero improvement from last season.
