i thought exactly that the other day after watching how those undercover ICE agents approached that Turkish Tufts student and it happened to be right under a camera yet all made sure their faces remained out of sight - which means they knew about the cctv cam
There are doorbell cameras everywhere these days. That may be the only accessible record of what happened. If accosted by plain clothes people in an unmarked vehicle, use those cameras to make a record your family and lawyers can use as a starting point. Try to keep your hands visible.
