Does engaging with posts from actually affected people help to "correct" the algorithm through comments like this, likes, and reposts?

For that matter, does engagement with a comment like this help, or is it best to focus on OP replies, if there are any?

Is there a way to even know the answer?

I’m not sure! I’ve heard commenting and reposting in important on BlueSky, more so than likes, but who knows. My post was mostly about TikTok creators and on there it’s any engagement helps, but especially comments.

Thanks for the reply! I definitely can't help with TikTok, as this and Reddit are the only social media accounts I have, but I'll make every effort to provide what engagement I can in those places.
