Thank you. Only a 5 mile walk but it was lovely and made even better by the fact that we got back to the car 5 minutes before the heavens opened so we stayed dry 🤣 Goyt Valley walk planned for today. 10 miles 👍

Oh you really should. If you like walking, hills and beautiful scenery, it's just amazing. 4 hours drive for us so we don't get here as often as I'd like but we try to do it a couple of times a year if we can. It's one of my happy places.

Morning. Yes good idea to rest your foot so mind how you go with the cleaning. My mornings are starting earlier now it's lighter and the hens are up earlier. They were at the indoor run door to get out into the outdoor run. Later I'm off litter picking again in the roads we didn't get to last week.

He moved in, I think, a couple of years ago. When I was cleaning, he rushed out of his little nest, panicked & rushed back in. He did very well last summer but I can't imagine how he survived the winter.

We had one living in the bumper of the car. He found a friend when we went on holidays. How he survived traveling at 110kph all the way to Adelaide and back I will never know.

😂😂 I had one living behind the wing mirror. To my horror, he popped out when I was doing about the same speed. He was clinging on for dear life, little legs, splayed out. By some miracle, he also made it!
