Unleashed feels like kind of a classic sonic-like philosophy where you're pretty much expected to smack into stuff but that makes it all the better when it comes together
a lotta newer boost material in comparison is like it's almost too afraid of the player smacking into something and complaining
fr lol i have some qualms with the boost as a framework but at least in unleashed it knows what its doing and hones in on it rather than trivialising the core and trying to add in more (relatively) extraneous mechanics like mediocre platforming n crud
i think it'd be really funny if they did both. imagine playing the truest of forces level design and then you unlock an extra level that's as hard and demanding as people think advance 2 is
