Heard somewhere yesterday that some US manufacturers are setting up shops outside of the US to avoid the tariff costs on components coming out of China. Less tariff costs on importing the finished product. On-shoring manufacturing going great, it seems.

I think they are just juicing consumer spending right now, so much "I have to buy this now before the tariffs" even if that person didn't really need that. Like I felt the itch to get the latest phone, to replace my almost 2 year old model, "just in case", but...
