All dreams are boring and shouldn't be shared, but last night my entire dream was that we were done with dinner and I needed to find the waiter to pay the check and for what seemed like 30 minutes I was just walking around looking for him, and it was so *thoroughly* boring it seemed share-worthy.

Instead, it's trying to reconcile lived emotions. The emotional subtext of your dream is the "meaning".
