Jordan makes really good points in this thread - For me, it's not the fault of the individual for wanting to have a way of feeling creative; it's the soulless nature of AI that, in a world increasingly focused on marketability, feels like a slap in the face.
Thinking about AI slop the last few days, the one positive I can draw from it is that it shows how many people are hungry to somehow acquire the spirit of an artist, are starving for some kind of inspiration, or to see themselves as capable of contributing something beautiful to world.
