Not a massive anime watcher, can’t say I ever watched the anime that the Akira slide refers to. But I am well aware of the Akira slide, thanks to many and inspired anime artist and cartoonist. Pretty damn sure I’ve seen the Akira slide in regular Hollywood movies too.
