Haven't had time to go over the new hardware announcements in detail, but I am wanting to know more about the newer X3D chips from AMD. I'm sitting on a 3900X on the gaming PC, I'm tempted to upgrade to something that will last the next 5-6 years. #ces - ThreadSky

The Nvidia cards, eh, too pricey. I only got a 3090 because I a) needed a card and b) couldn't source a 3080 and also c) I could make up the price diff by mining some bitcoin. None of that is in play this time around, so I'd max out at 5080 I think. I wish there was more competition at the high end.

I am excited to see X3D start to hit the mobile chips, but my Framework 16 laptop is giving me all the performance I need right now, even if they do bring out a new Motherboard I doubt I'd upgrade right now. Not unless I get a fresh infusion of cash.

My 2019 LG B9 TV is starting to suffer from the burn-in, so I'm interested to see when the new line will hit. Not so much to pick up the new stuff, but grab last years model at a discount... 165Hz vs 120Hz and I never upscale on the TV side. I can live with last years.

Otherwise, any time I see 'AI' I generally switch off. Generally whenever I see a smart appliance I don't see it implemented in any way that would, for me, appreciably make the experience better. Same goes for 'AI'.
