Inflation is defined retroactively on a 6 month basis, so although we will be in a major recession beginning now, we won’t be in that major recession technically until they backdate it in August. Now is the time to prepare

If you look at 2008 and Covid you can clearly see how the wealthy make giants leaps in wealth when there are crashes. You may be right that this is the greatest grift of all.
I watched "Too Big to Fail" last weekend. Was a good reminder that even those at the top can get squeezed (and require bailouts). We're setting ourselves up for a different version of this. The only constant is that Buffet is still sitting on a massive pile of cash and everyone will kiss his ass.
