I think a lot of people don't understand that this is what's going to happen. It's not even a secret. And not only will we lose the parks, we'll lose species and opportunities to combat climate change. I am trying not to mourn pre-emptively, but as a wildlife/environmental educator, it's tough.

Also the attack on the National Parks is because the GOP wants to seize that land and they've said so before.

They want to strip mine and frak.
