Such a difficult question, part of me says a CZ of many kinds, Dnepr were awesome too although they had a lot of mechanical issues.

Honestly I am very torn about Ural, you seem to pay an awful lot for what is a very mediocre performance from a sidecar rig. The older models had errr problematic gearboxes, the newer (post 2010 realistically)models are hideously expensive over here.

They look great though!

650 pre unit bonny in a slimline featherbed running Borani rims but with a slight twist, in that I'd choose a front hub that let me run a single disc brake set up

Interesting. I thought the featherbed frame was a Norton thing. Did triumph do one too?

My current bike is a Bonny Speedmaster and I have always loved Triumphs.

you're right that the featherbeds were Norton, lots of cafe racers of the era used them. if you wrote your bike off, you could salvage the engine and there were simply loads of featherbed frames around (due to a quirky car racing class) and the Tritons, Norvins etc were born
