Sometimes I sit and think about all of the coordination that went into "just not taking the bus," and then when I'm gobsmacked by that, I remember that not everyone even had their own home telephone to communicate.

I too have been thinking about it. Can we use the lessons? In Boycotting Amazon for instance…Someone (not me,lol) good at organizing knows how to do this. If we want to boycott to any real level of pain for Bezos, it’s not enough to tell everyone not to buy. Or to get rid of their membership.

We need to tell them where to buy instead. We need to look at who suffers. Naturally, the most vulnerable, but also small business. We need to prepare to help the vulnerable by offering other ways to get their goods. We need to set up a way to help the workers get work or

Agree. We thought social media would help connect us, but what it did was prevent us from making a support network in real life, in our own community. I think this is why getting organized is a struggle. That’s a muscle that hasn’t been used.
