e.g remove an old device to create room to put in the new backup server. Then required sorting out a UPS for power..

TIL how to reset an Eaton UPS that's complaining about EOSL on its battery. Which passes all the self tests but it turns out there is a LCM timer that's fixed to alert at a 4 year interval if the battery doesn't fail first.
UPS fixed means power to mac mini and backup disk fixed which meant I could move onto networking for it.
2 hours later, machine is up and remote disk mounting and software config can start.. 🤷♂️🤦🥲
