Will there be any QoL changes coming to Valkyr in this update similar to this? Valkyr's ult feels a bit dated with how the damage store mechanic works and how it will just instantly kill you. I know there's ways to avoid it but it just feels like such a restricting/dated mechanic in general.
Hey Pablo can something be done about Titania+Thermal Sunder combo? Every time i play any relic mission i know its pointless to even try doing anything because i know there is a Titania or 2 that will clear everything out, it feels im just a relic holder for those people.
This downward balancing approach is totally wrong. After nerfing Slam, whatβs next? Nerfing Torrid because itβs the strongest? Then Burston? Why shackle ourselves? Wouldnβt upward balancing (buffing other weapons to make them viable ) be the better approach?
Upward balancing IS what they're doing with 99% of the time lol. Have you seen the mountains of buffs they've made throughout all the weapons? Hundreds of melee weapons that gets buffed which you conveniently left out?
Sometimes, there are just the 1% that needed to have downward balancing.

Nukor, cyctron, occucor, why not miasma, dark verse, or thermal sunder. There's literally no end to it. Some people just want to complain. It's sad that only the complainers get heard because the majority is too busy having fun.

No, I completely disagree. If DE had buffed other weapons instead of nerfing launchers, weβd still have the same variety in weapon choices and buildcrafting. Players are just biting the bullet and using existing alternatives. In the end, how many launchers have actually survived?
Garudaβs claws are getting an arcane slot right? I know they arenβt exalted but itβd be weird if they were like the only weapon left without an arcane slot

They're genuinely such an interesting frame and I love both the design of the frame itself and their abilities, but feel as though they are lacklustre in their damage, with his 4th struggling to kill Base Steelpath enemies in a fully invested build.
I feel as though this could be remedied by utilizing the Enemy Detonation Caliban's 4th already has an increasing the range of the detonation, making it more akin to Qorvex's 4th and its enemy detonation! Letting it hit more enemies and thus helping its damage! π
Also excited to see what you & the team come up with for Caliban's augments in the future as I feel he has so much potential for interesting and unique augments! Augments that make him either more damage or buff focused would be nice to make them feel more like a 'solid' frame!
I know this is about Titania, but I was curious, are Sevagoth's Shadows claws getting the exalted pass? It would be awesome if I could use Acolyte mods and arcanes on them.
Iβm loving the direction Titaniaβs changes are taking. Will Razorflies AI be fixed to make these new changes more beneficial though? Currently they like to gang up on a single enemy, and would end up debuffing/distracting only that singular enemy. Keep up the good work! π

Hey Pablo! Would you be open to increasing max Razorflies by 2? She has 12 Razorflies on her body, so if she started with 8 when casting Razorwing, and gained 4 from Tribute, it would match the amount she has on her body.
with the massive influx of new players, do you think that some of the old alerts that introduced some of the world bases like Ty, de Tham and Alad could be offered as a playable mission, or maybe the lore uploaded as a cutscene or celephon fragment?
My guess is that the damage boost would be additive, like using Roar and a Bane mod. But Roar, Eclipse, or Xata's on Titania will probably be ridiculous now.
it would be great if only 1 razorfly targets one enemy or a area. i don't think making a random enemy vulnerable will be any noticeable buff. main pain point of titania is she has single target damage in high end missions and nothing else .
I wanted to get them to spread more, and also to follow you more closely, sometimes they will stick to enemies you left two rooms behind, but unfortunately the way the ability was made doesn't allow for this sort of control. So until we get time to fully remake it, we can't change their behavior.
yeah understandable, otherwise you would have done it way before :3 . I know its not a rework but it would have been great if razorflies used lantern or just a lantern which heals team instead of attracting enemies. and then her 3 adding some heat damage or maybe making enemies explode after kill.
Hey Pablo! Happy to see all of the changes for exalteds and pseuodos! Was Inaros ever considered for one due to his augment? I know that technically it explicity explains what it does, but it seems a bit odd to have him be the only one left with any sort of stat stick.
I don't think it really is a stat stick, it only copies the damage type, not even the amount or anything, we did update the description to be clearer, only alternative we saw was changing it to a chromatic type augment which does the same, but has less elements, so we opted to leave as is
they gain 20 combo even if you dont hit anything a swing unless they are the channeled exalted weapons, and those build combo soo fast that it doesnt even matter
for everyone complaining about combo, its you and the riven people that are boiling my blood right now
Niras contempt is getting a massive nerf with the upcoming changes to set mods, can they perchance be excluded from that or removed from specifically whips? Itβs just a nerf to exalted slams unfortunately.
It is not getting changed other than clarifying the description since it is confusing, all it does is see what the damage types are in the melee and copy those, but it doesn't scale with any of the mods at all, so not really a stat stick
ah ok i was kinda hoping it would cause having to run certain elements on my melee to get what i want on sandstorm, limits what i can do with melee, ie if i want toxin on sandstorm, I can't run an influence build on my melee weapon since i can't have toxin and electricity
Understandable, but I have tested a ton of whips and it doesnβt really feel like it belongs on them as a slam damage increase as whips donβt really do it well, any chance they can be universal for melee or is that too much.
The reality is we are most likely gonna have to nerf melee slams next big update after techrot, lots of players complain about the constant spam, so would be counter productive to do anything to buff them right now
While you're considering nerfing melee slams, why not buff the base combo duration on most melees as well? A reset every five seconds feels way too short without using Naramon, which is why Heavy Slams + Initial Combo is being used all the time. Perhaps buffing the combo timer would help stop spams?
Bring the stamina bar back too.
Put a minimal 10 minutes before extraction across all game modes as well.
Actually get rid of public matchmaking too, make everyone use public comms to build groups so they can truly avoid slem.
Could we make height matter for slams as the "nerf"? Constant spam from 2 inches off the ground isn't fun to play or play with, but if I saw a rhino bullet jump to the height of hollvania and slam a hammer down so hard everything in 30m fell down I'd quite enjoy that sight.
Hi,I know this is a bit late message, but would you consider letting tennokai attack to have 100% follow-through and less slam damage fall off? since tennokai is not always active and cannot be spammed, this should theoretically be a viable option other than melee influence build for crowd clearing
Really? By that logic melee influence, torid, glaives, any really strong AOE should also get nerfed somehow... I just find it weird how people seem fixated on slams as if its something others weapons can't do. But oh well I just hope slams aren't rendered useless.
We only nerf when:
1. It can be automated(macros)
2. It is so dominant that reduces choice
3. Makes the game more annoying for other players
Melee slam spam falls under both 1 and 3, we get nothing but buff requests, so when we get the same nerf request several times, we know its a big problem
Here are some thoughts.
1. Make slams have longer recovery time and let hand spring/constitution mods help with recovery times.
2. Let the slam attacks scale range up to 6m with Heavy impact mod or Rhino's passive with fall of increasing by 10%.
Warframes should be modded to handle their weapons.

I don't think slams are bad right now. It's slam speed that need work. If you slow slam speed and have warframes mod for handling the weapon then slams can be balanced. Where is the risk and reward when I can come in like a metor. Mod your warframe for the weapon you weild. Not the other way.
Seems like quite an unpopular take, no? Were there really that many people complaining about it? Considering how many other broken things there are, why would that even happen? Slam attacks don't seem like much of a problem, honestly.
"Constantly"? Seems a little disingenuous, DE generally don't touch whatever is strongest at any given time, but instead add new things that allow more niche picks to shine more.

if you nerf slam damage, ennemies are going to ragdoll and fly everywhere without dying and its going to be VERY UNFUN to play with teammates making ennemies untargatable. Please also consider the removal of ennemis ragdoll when performing slam attack that doesnt one shot
There is another option. Slam recovery where you are grounded and can't jump immediately after slam allowing mods like Handspring or Constitution be viable to increase Slams per minute or Kavat's Grace or Prime shure footed to allow immediate jumps after recovery.
Ooh nice, I also hope that heavy slam attacks get a wind-up animation where you float in the air before falling, currently there's no reason not to use regular slam attacks over heavy slam attacks as the latter is a direct upgrade damage-wise (unless if you're saving up combo)
My thoughts were the opposite longer grounded recovery with warframe moding causing reduced times or allowing immediate launches after recovery. So that Zephyr, Kullervo and other build could be viable after a extended recovery time. And potentially be faster than before if DE does it well.
Some slam builds hit too hard, maybe the nira's set is too strong? Other than that, without it, it doesnt feel that bad
I just wish stairs didnt counter it so hard! XD
I think the most egregious of the slam issues is the animation cancelling macros people are using. However, a lot of us are enjoying slam as intended and would prefer not to be nerfed to unviability.
Hey Pablo, glad to hear you're working to reduce the spam on them, have you considered making height matter with slams? That way if you do a slam 2 inches off the ground it'll hit like a wet noodle but if you take the time to get some height it can be much more impactful

This is not working as intended and RAZORFLIES should be able to spread status . Or be moddable by companion mods because arcane camisado doesn't work on it or have the 4th augment affect RAZORFLIES

If they nerf slams it probably will be a long recovery time from slam. That could mean that Handspring or Constitution mods could off set the long delay. And potentially add more use for warframe moding for weapons. Heavy impact increasing slam base to 6m?
Nah they are honestly. its brain dead and kinda makes the game unable to be played by the vast majority of the lobby most of the time. it needs to get hit
Awesome change. I'm curious with this change will her full moon buff stay the same ? getting a damage increase on what is mainly intended to be used as utility and support aside, getting increased health and armor on something invulnerable feels extremely redundant.
Will they fly any faster? Currently they are kind of sluggish compared to how fast we can move around even without Razorwing Blitz, would help with them moving from target to target as you kill instead of trailing behind.
Maybe, we are actually trying to, but the way the ability was made makes granular control harder, so might have to wait until a future update when we can rewrite the ability, but there's still some options to try first
Another question related to Titania, will her weapons be getting any stat bumps? Mostly her Exalted melee Follow Through possibly being brought up to match the rest of the exalteds, currently it's 70% while all the other exalted melees are 100%. A status chance bump would also be nice.
We did change the follow through to 100% but I think that is the only stat change iirc. Of course it now has an arcane slot and access to mods it didn't before like Blood Rush
Hey Pablo! Happy to hear the increase to her FT but I agree with Starz that her Status Chance is severely lacking as it stands and that she could really do with an increase to it, even just an increase from 10% > 20% would do her a huge favour and make Diwata a more viable weapon.
The FT change is great but in my experience Diwata lacks the base status to really take advantage of things like Melee Influence. Was wondering if you'd consider bumping it up to say 20% or so.
Maybe in the future, but with the addition of Arcanes and access to lots of mods that is too many buffs in one go, gotta see where it settles after update.
Ahh, @pabloalonso.bsky.social are you doing anything about how onerous Tribute is to maintain? A razorwing blitz build is managing a lot of short duration buffs (RWB, Tribute x 4, Spellbind passive, razorwing)
Slams are weird. How do you make them good to do sometimes without them becoming the one and only thing to do all the time? Heavy attacks are in a similar place. Basically, how did we get to a combo system that is, by default, best to circumvent?
would it have an indicator to show they been hit by razorflies? other wise it seems like it hard to see that they been hit

Hey Pablo, I havent seen any info on this: Will Ash's teleport be unlocked to be aimed wherever you want without always needing a target? Like how you can hold to cast Wrathful Advance to teleport freely.
Is there any possibility of the AOE headshot nerf from veilbreaker being reverted for concentrated arrow specifically? The AOE doesnβt benefit from acuity, prowlβs own headshot mult or even the crit chance added by the augment itself. I feel as though it synergizes very poorly with ivaraβs kit
While we're at it, could you please increase the max amount of active razorflies to 12? I find it odd that we can't summon more than 10, and yet Titania literally has 12 razorflies chilling on her π
Nekros can summon up to 7 guys with my build. Theres a compagnion mod that creates up to 3 clones of itself when casting. add a specter in this and you got 11 ais fighting for you and thats with my current level of knowledge whuch isnt very much.
Is there any chance that Rhino's passive could get some love from the slam update? Perhaps a slam damage % increase scaling with armour or something? Or maybe a speed increase since his passive is him being really heavy?
I don't really think he needs it, but it would be neat.

Her 2 should be a dust that applies to her and her razorflies because when you hit the enemies they still go flying off the map so you canβt get the buffs.

3. IMO the only problematic slam melee is the Magistar incarnon, the 100% radius perk makes it a competitive damage tool.
Other slam melees suffer from damage delays, small AOEs, or are reliant on low uptime conditionals.
This isn't even considering there are better ways to take all the kills away from the squad. e.g. I've had public zaramin exterms where I get 100% of the kills and finish the mission in 50s with guns alone. (not torid)
I think a better way to deal with people who complain would be to implement "skill-based matchmaking" something like taking the stats from the last 5-10 public missions and matching them with similar players.
but I do agree Magistar is a tad over the line. but slam as a whole shouldn't suffer for it
It's beyond next-level lunacy! In over 20 years of gaming, Iβve never seen anyone suggest SBMM in a PvE game. The whole point of PvE is to overcome challenges however you want, not get sorted into lobbies based on stats. He might want to check if his brainβs still functioning before suggesting more
An awesome change to my fav frame! Could we maybe get a QoL feature where objects that orbit her (like Protea's shield grenade) are sized down so they don't take up a lot of the screen? It's especially bad with the deluxe skin grenades!
There's also an issue with Revenant's Mesmer skin, where it cloaks you in some sort of haze and causes a sort of flashing effect on screen as you move. It's quite uncomfortable to look at.
Love this! A bit sad I can't toss Cold on the Diwata so the flies proc Archon Flow, but oh well. Are there any tweaks being made to her Tribute so it's not as clunky as it is currently?
Please do not nerf slams. You're only going to grease the squeaky wheel when the massive majority don't say anything because we love it. Don't punish the 999 players because the 1 complained. This is NOT what they player base wants.
Honestly their Damage is dismal, similar to how it is on live without the melee influence/co bug. Which is why we are focusing them on being a damage amplifier, they make your Dex Pixia even better, but have no kill potential on their own
If you do wanna look into things to buff about dex pixia after, may I suggest mag size? A lot of titanias go to arcane pistoleer for infinite ammo, and I think its the type of change that would make her feel a lot better while not impacting her power that much.
Is debuff from newflies gonna be stacking or a single instance? Cause I guess if it were a single instance maybe they could change their priority to targets without the debuff..? Ah but I guess that would have to run along the other already set priorities.

That + Energy Transfer basekit and I'd be pretty happy with where Equinox is (and slash status on the 4 or some other damage type because slash damage without status is a weird choice.)
Honestly with the potential for changes to how razorflies behave in the future, i think itβd be cool if dex pixia got an alt fire which gathered all the razorflies towards where you are aiming or some method to control where they go that isnt an augment
