I've deleted all Life of Sharks content from Instagram and I won't be posting any further comics on Threads. We've 140k followers on those platforms. Not all of them will follow us over to here but hopefully some of them will.

Found you, making the move to blue, threads is a dumpster fire now and insta died a long time ago, can't miss out on your content, thank you for all the laughs so far!
For a different reason and maybe not (bc who knows what’s to come), I deleted my TT acct. The conspiracy theories & nonsensical topics are a distraction from the truth. I can’t condone that mess. Staying put over here.
Well you've just made another new follower over here because I agree with everything you said and done, and having briefly checked your profile, turns out I really like your content too!
I was on instagram to nuke any stray pictures of my face, saw your announcement there, and promptly followed you over here. Glad to keep seeing your stuff!
I applaud you for your strong commitment, 140k is a lot to lose but your point about controlling what we can right now is exactly why we need to leave Meta. Remember, we don't do it because it will change them, we do it so they don't change us!
I'm a new follower for you. I didn't know you on the other platforms, but I deleted my Threads and Instagram accounts yesterday and am happy to add a person of decency and conviction to my very tiny account here.
I support you and now follow you. I deleted ig/threads yesterday. Some
I work w/get it others were confused. It’s all ok. I can rebuild my brand here. Im working on Pinterest that clicks into an Etsy store. Better to have a clear conscience then to go along with something your gut says is wrong.
Good for you, I've done the same. Ultimately, whether or not it hits Zuckerberg in any way or not, people's mental health comes first, and it feels worthwhile to me!
It's never personally about hoping to hurt the company -- though if enough do it, it will have some measure of impact -- it's about your own personal ethics and principles. I haven't deleted my FB account yet, but I really don't use it anymore since I joined here. This is my only social site now.
I first discovered your art at Blue Sky! I was customizing my feed for shark images when I stumbled upon you.😆 The humor in The Life of Sharks always reminds me to smile.✨ May your heart be at peace.🫶 (Please allow for more unnaturalness due to machine translation...)
I don’t eat Chick-fil-a. Does it hurt their profits? No. But I’m still not going to support them. Same with Meta. However infinitesimal, every user & interaction adds to the money they make. I won’t be part of it.
I don't post anymore on FB...but left a bunch of enviro posts because one knows people who know u snoop on your FBs so they can see that. And just follow a couple of animal rescues who have built up big followings on FB and not easy for them to just leave.
I don’t eat or go to Chick-fil-a either. They’re not getting my $ when they refuse to cover birth control for their employees. POS!
In fact, I successfully encouraged a group of my colleagues to request other lunch options than Chick-fil -a at the conferences we attend.
It worked, too!
That’s how I feel about Hobby Lobby. I’m a Girl Scout leader and could definitely shop there but morally can’t. I doubt I make a difference to them. To me though.
I have never tried Chick-fil-A because of their support for conversion therapy . However I just heard McDonald’s and Burger King contributed to trumps inauguration, not Chick-fil-A.
I feel the same way. If we all take little steps in not supporting the plutocracy and dismantling of democracy or supporting capitalistic exploitation, we can make a huge impact. I did the same yesterday for the same reason!

I'm not on those dipstick sites anyway.
Welcome!

I feel good about doing MY part...if more people considered "their part" what an impact it WOULD make!
Chicken is the only thing the southern Christians are actually good at.
