I was listening very closely to obituaries of Sir Bobby, and there wasn't much mention of dementia. I wonder if Scotland, who are more enlightened, will do a better job of it in the coming weeks.

My mother has late-stage Alzheimer’s so the wording of the statement from his family saying he is finally at peace is so resonant.
A horrible and vindictive disease.
